Our thoughts go out to the family of Bob Smith, who passed away on September 2, 2020. Bob joined the Syracuse Fire Department in 1951. While on the department, he also served as President of the International Association of Firefighters, Local 280. After his retirement, he became President of the Syracuse Retired Firefighters Association, a position he held with tremendous dedication for 34 years.

With great appreciation, we salute Bob Smith’s life of service to his fellow firefighters.
